For organisations

Your org outlives its officers. Its records should too.

Outreach, blood drives, inductions, general assemblies, soirées. Run them end to end on Takits — registration, the door, the real headcount, the certificates — and keep all of it with the organisation instead of in whoever was secretary that year.

Free for every free event. No card, no attendee cap, no trial clock.

The things you actually run

Outreach

Volunteer sign-ups with headcount you can actually plan food and transport around.

Blood drive

Slot-based registration, walk-ins at the table, and a verified list for the bloodbank.

General assembly

Quorum you can prove, because the door scanner counts who physically arrived.

Induction

A certificate per inductee, verifiable by link, issued the same day.

Soirée

Guest lists with approval, so a private event stays private.

Fundraiser

Free registration now; ticketed pricing when payments arrive in Phase 2.

What changes

Officers change. The records should not.

Every year the roster, the attendance sheets and the certificate templates live in one outgoing officer's Google Drive, and every year some of it does not survive the turnover. On Takits the event, its attendees and its certificates belong to the organisation. Add the next batch of officers as members, remove the last, and nothing moves.

Attendance you can defend.

A QR scan records that a ticket was presented at the door and when it was checked in. Staff still confirm who is presenting it. Online duplicate checks protect the shared ledger; offline devices reconcile when they reconnect, so use one scanning device per entrance until they are back online.

Certificates that survive a lost file.

Issue certificates after the event and each one gets a verification link. While the record is retained, a member can open that link to download the PDF and check its current validity, including revocation.

The door works when the venue does not.

Prepare each scanning phone online before the event. Once loaded, the scanner can queue scans without signal and sync them when the connection returns. Rehearse on the actual phone and keep an access-controlled fallback attendee list ready.

Partnering

Takits is early and says so. If your organisation runs events regularly, there is a version of this where you get the thing you need built next and we get an honest test with real people at a real door. That has been the whole method so far, and it is why the show rate, the offline scanner and the certificate verification exist at all.

No cost, no exclusivity, no commitment to keep using it. If it does not help, say so and we will write that down too.
